Goals
By the end of this topic, you should be able to:
- Build a frequency table and a grouped frequency table
- Read a histogram, a polygon, a density plot and a bar graph
- Describe a distribution by its shape
- Use percentages to compare groups of different sizes
Reading
- Sections 2-1 to 2-3. Skip percentiles, percentile ranks and interpolation (in 2-1) and real limits (in 2-2). We find percentiles from the normal curve in Topic 5.
